Whats the difference between Automatic and Semi Automatic Strapping Machines?
Not sure which one to go for? There are basically two types of systems, automatic and semi automatic, the features of which are outlined below.
Automatic Strapping Machines
An automatic strapping machine allows for hands-free operation to strap parcels or products. The parcel is placed in the middle of the machine table. Operation of the strap process is by foot-pedal, push button or ball-top actuator and the strapping cycle is instantaneous. This type of machine completes the operation in around 1.5 seconds.
Semi Automatic Strapping Machines
A semi automatic machines require some additional operator input, and takes slightly longer to wrap. The parcel is placed onto the middle of the table, where the operator takes the strapping over the parcel and inserts it into the guide, at which point the machine back feeds the strap until it contacts the product. The strapping machine exerts a level of tensional force to the strap to secure it. Once this tensional force has been exerted, the machine will automatically dispense a length of strapping ready for the next parcel. The total strapping time, is around three seconds.
We are now a main agent for Akebono Strapping Machines
Recently we have been pleased to announce that we are now an agent and supplier for Akebono Strapping Machines and associated comonents and spares. These are a popular strapping machine unit designed in Japan, with all compenents also being supplied from the same country. However, all manufacturing of the machines is done in Taiwan enabling a low price for a very good and reliable machine.
